Warrior's Legend

It is bizarre not to know how one arrives on this planet, but that is precisely the instance of Raya. Her real parents are not known, and it is uncertain how she came to rest at the Earth Region. She simply just appeared. Simply just came to be. She was suddenly there seemingly forgotten.

 

She arrived at the edge of the Earth Region as an infant floating along a stream in a grass basket. She was slowed down in the bank of the Emerald River. A caring old married couple strolling along the riverside spotted her wrapped in a blanket all muddied from the banks of the river. The old woman, KARA SOL, took Raya in her arms and instantly felt a love for this child. The old man as well, NANU SOL, looked upon Raya as if she was a gift sent from the heavens, for Kara was never able to conceive a child of her own.

 

However, the couple did raise Raya as their own and gave all of their love to their child.  They were so proud to see her grow and exceed in everything that she did.

 

Even as a toddler, she learned to walk and talk earlier than most of the young ones her age. She was bright, intelligent, cunning, and did excellent in her academic studies. Her strength and swiftness made physical training an ease. She effortlessly picked up spell casting and magic. And was one of the most powerful sorceresses. Quickly she rose to the top of her class to be one of the most gifted students.

 

All novans have the energy of the extraordinary light streaming within them. But Raya had an aura all of her own that seemed to radiate from her body. She was in a way different from everyone around her.

 

Her connection to other life surrounding her was exceptional. It was as if she really was one with all the effects in the world. No one, not even Raya herself, could explain her ability to be a master of all trades. She just accepted it as a blessing from the goddess, and gave thanks to Espirit for blessing her with such a gift. 

 

However, many of the other novans question if her arrival and this evil share a common source. No one is sure of her beginning or the darkness’s. So the novans using their logical thinking proposed it is possible the two could have been derived from the same location. It would explain her baffling heightened senses and capabilities as the beginning of the new transformation of evil for the new millennium.

 

Despite these inquiries and the chip they caused to sit on Raya‘s shoulder, when she heard the news of the attacks on other kingdoms and witnessed the ones on her own, she immediately felt the urge to save her land. Her world. Now at the age of twenty five, Raya feels ready to take part in the first real war on the planet.

 

She knows what must be done and asks the guidance of Espirit. Raya asks Espirit for the honor to be chosen as a leader for the Protectors in the mission to save the Entities and their regions. And in the end, the entire world. 

 

Espirit hears Raya’s request. She uses the whispering winds to tell her that her wish may be granted "if only she establish herself worthy."

 

"You must prove yourself first in order to truly be considered as the leader of the World War. I've seen your strength. Your smarts. But I do not see tenderness. Every hero has weaknesses. You will find yours. You will overcome them.

 

Save the Entities from capture and gather the Protectors. Once you have gathered your allies, you will be ready to face the evil of Lucius. The source of this madness. And when that time comes, I will give you the tools necessary to defeat him.

 

And save the world."

 

Over her journey, Raya will complete assigned tasks and missions. She will bring together the Protectors to save their regions and the world. She will find the truth about herself. Her birthright is being the only novan powerful enough to save the race from certain annihilation. She is special for a purpose. That purpose is saving the world. She will find, battle, and defeat the darkness that is swallowing their world. In the end, the survival of the Novan race depends on a lone warrior...

And this journey will be her legend.

Raya has become a loner, and stays mostly to herself. The constant interrogation of the townspeople weighs heavily on her spirit. The day of Raya's arrival on the bank of the river is the same day that Lucius's beasts appeared to attack the lands. The townspeople believe that the two events coincide. They question her skills and wonder if she is one of Lucius's creations waiting for the perfect attack. Even after saving many of the townspeople's lives, they are still unsure if Raya's intentions are pure. "She's just trying to gain our trust so she can attack us when we're weakest," is the average mentality. Raya insists that she has no correlation with the darkness invading their land. Some challenge that it will take tens of thousands of saved novan lives to prove she is not in alliance with Lucius. Raya now is set on a journey to save the Entities, create an alliance with the Protectors, and bring down this tyranny of evil with a fight to the death.

When Raya has gathered forces with the Protectors, she must then travel to the Realm of Light. At the Temple of Light, she receives the tools that she needs to help defeat the evil Lucius.  After many trials to prove Raya is worthy, the goddess Espirit gives her the Armor of Light and the Light Staff. The fiercest and strongest warriors used these tools in time of battle. The Armor of Light is resistant to any blade, and can reflect most spells and curses. The Light Staff contains a crystal in the center that can sparkle as bright as the sun. This crystal holds within the past warriors' spirits of Terra Nova that have fought to keep the balance of the Light and Darkness. These spirits give tremendous strength, wisdom, and courage to any who wields it. With these tools and enlightening information from Espirit, Raya must continue on to the Realm of Darkness to destroy Lucius.
